Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 

Rehoboth Beach is a great place for a family vacation. There are many attractions to go and see. The north boardwalk is a family paradise! The kids will never be bored because of the countless amusement rides, and carnival-style food. During the summer months, there are free concerts, and wineries (for parents). If you are looking to escape the boardwalk then visit Funland. It is a day-long carnival with rides for children of all ages. Block Island, Rhode Island

Block Island is just south of mainland Rhode Island. At Rocky Beach tourists can merely relax or if you’re feeling adventurous, snorkeling and sailing is also offered. Also located on the island is Southeast lighthouse, built in 1873. This lighthouse was made a historical landmark in 1997, marking it as one of the most architecturally sophisticated lighthouses built in the 19th century. 

There is also a walking festival and a music festival during the summer. Visitors can stroll through the art galleries and the wineries. Block Island also offers horseback riding.

St. Augustine, Florida

St. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States. There are two beaches to go to in St. Augustine, which are St. Augustine beach and Crescent Beach. Both beaches offer surf lessons at the Surf Station. If you are not someone who wants to ride the waves, throughout many parts of the old town there are bike rentals and trolley tours to discover all the historical sites of St. Augustine. For the history buffs, stay at the edge of St. Augustine’s historic district. Walk to the sightseeing train station and hop aboard for a bell-ringer tour.

Cape May, New Jersey

Traveling to Cape May for a vacation or just a day trip? There are plenty of fun activities that you and the rest of the family can enjoy! Today, many visitors visit Provincetown, for the beaches and mild climate. The two most popular beaches are Herring Cove Beach and Race Point Beach where visitors can watch surfers catch a wave. The Hamptons, New York

Kennebunkport, Maine

You may not have heard of Kennebunkport, but it is a gorgeous place to visit. There are two beaches to see when you travel. Goose Rocks beach and Arundel beach are beautiful. Goose Rocks beach is secluded, and the water is a pale turquoise blue. Arundel beach is dog friendly with rocky cliffs.  Kennebunkport also offers lobster fishing, concerts in the park and a biking tour around the area.
