A Guide to Dubai With Rubinsohn Travel
Dubai is a city full of scenic views, and adventures that you can’t find elsewhere. Known for its extravagant shopping, modern architecture, and expansive nightlife, Dubai is the hot-spot in the United Arab Emirates among tourists. Sitting 52 feet above sea level, Dubai is sunny year-round – giving you the perfect weather to explore and experience all the city has to offer! Looking for the most luxurious excursions to explore while visiting the City of Gold? Rubinsohn Travel is here with a guide on the must-see attractions while visiting the United Arab Emirates city.
Burj Khalifa
Standing at over 828 meters (2,716.5 feet), the Burj Khalifa is not only the tallest building in the United Arab Emirates, but also in the world. The exterior glitters in the night-sky, as approximately 26,000 individually hand-cut glass panels compliment the character of the building as a simple, but elegant structure. The tower’s landscaped areas are intricately divided into three sections to provide distinction, for the residences, offices, and hotel. The design features a palm court, lake-side promenade, forest groves, a play area, and terrace gardens – offering amenities for anyone. Burj Khalifa also holds quite a few world records, such as the highest number of building stories in the world, its elevator serves as the longest travel distance in the world, and Burj Khalifa is also home to the highest outdoor observation deck. Why wouldn’t you want to visit Burj Khalifa? Fun Fact: Burj Khalifa’s doors were built with a wind-tracking device, indicating whether or not wind conditions are safe enough to open the doors!
Dubai Frame
Dubai is known for its architecture, so it’s no surprise the city has created an attraction centered around it. The Dubai Frame recently opened its doors in January 2018 and is 150 meters high and 93 meters wide (492.1 feet and 305.1 feet). A museum is located on the frame’s lower floor, recounting Dubai’s journey from a village to a global destination. The Dubai Frame was designed by award-winning architect Fernando Donis, who also designed Dubai’s Porsche Design Towers, and the Dubai Renaissance Tower, so you know it’s the real deal. It is also predicted the frame will become a major hot-spot for tourists, similar to the Burj Khalifa. The sky deck also features an exquisite glass bottom, allowing visitors to see one of the best views of Dubai the city has to offer!
Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve
Let your wild side shine on a desert safari adventure! The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve is a natural reserve where visitors can take part in an adventure on the dunes. Experienced drivers will take you on the ride of your life before stopping for sunset pictures. End the adventure at a Bedouin camp with an Arabic buffet dinner! Interested in driving yourself? Head to Dubai’s most famous sand dune, Big Red, where you can navigate yourself on a quad bike, or try out sandboarding. Using a snowboard-like contraption, you’ll glide down the dunes like an expert! In a destination known for its over-the-top projects, the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve forms the biggest piece of land which Dubai has dedicated to a single project.

Dubai Museum
Learn about the history of Dubai at the Dubai Museum! Located in the Al Fahidi Fort (built in 1787), the museum is full of facts and stories about how Dubai came to be what it is today.
